Really hoping this GLW is a pullet!

Having a roo wouldn't be awful, but it would sersiously be my luck to get one.  I'm concerned because I also have a SLW that's the same age that has a gray/pink comb area, and NO wattles forming.  Chick in question is around 5 weeks old.  Thank you!  :)

Color is off in this one, but it gives a better side view of the body.

I am not great with sexing Wyandottes, but hang in there..

I know quite a few people (including myself) who have had Wyandottes pink up early.

Can you post a front view of the comb? That would help a lot.

1 German Shepherd, 1 Borador, 1 Malitpoo, 1 West Highland Terrier, 1 German Shorthair Pointer puppy, 3 Australorps, 6 Red Sex Links, 1 Black Sex Link, 1 Speckled Sussex, 1 Silver Laced Wyandotte, 2 Golden Laced Wyandottes, 2 Buff Orpingtons, 3 Tetra Tints (aka: Amber Sex Link) and 9 Easter Eggers.

YES, I had to thin my flock out. It went from 57 to 28.  :(

I'd say you have a cockerel, but Wyandottes can be tricky. Don't give up hope yet!

Looks like a cockeral to me. But it's still early yet!

"Why yes, I was raised in a barn."

1 Silver Laced Wyandotte, 2 Naked Necks, 1 Cochin, 1 Easter Egger, 7 barnyard bantams, 3 Rouens, Pheobe the Aussie, Wally - Nermal - Bea - and Sassy the cats....and now a whole 'herd' of new chickens: chantaclers, orloffs, wyandottes, rocks, sussex, new hamps, and brahmas, along with Pippen and Squeak the button quails.

Alright, so here is a 6wk picture, though a little washed out......it's more red through the comb and wattles irl.  And fwiw, this chick's body language is always the 'hey!  what are you doing?' [cautiously picks its way nearer, head-bob, cranes its neck, a few more cautious steps, and then retreats]  I don't know if that just means it's the alpha pullet so to speak, or if that's early cockeral body language.
