Battle of the Texas Rat Snake: Capture and Relocation

hail chicken folk!

 

we had been plagued by the below rat snake for a couple months now. he was eating as many eggs as he could get his...hands? on.  last night we managed to capture and relocate him using a kind of "lasso" formed from a loop of nylon rope through a pvc pipe. if you're interested and/or bored, the full story is here:

i hope this helps or heartens anyone dealing with a serpentine egg thief.  and gosh i hope he was the only one!

Read your story.  Oh, for a video of that.  lau.gif  Snake musk - sickbyc.gif.  Hope that was a fairly long ride.  All wild critters have a strong homing instint.
