Please continue to read this question through to the end. Since the day I received my baby chicks from the grain store, their poop has had a frothy look to it. Sometimes it's yellow-ish. Sometimes, there is no froth and it looks normal. Most of the time, though, it looks frothy. I had no idea this wasn't normal, since I am new to chickens. A friend of mine got chicks on the same day. I've had them for over three weeks, and they are otherwise doing fine. Eating a ton, growing like crazy, roosting, scratching, and even starting to cluck a little. My chicks are also slightly bigger than my friend's. Her's are of the same breeds, but have "normal" looking poop. What is going on? If my chicks are sick, wouldn't they be acting like it?
