I was wondering if this chick i just hatched is considered a blue? He looked black with silver streaks while still wet..

Splash comes from the breeding of blue to blue, blue to splash, splash to splash, black to splash etc. but only from those color lines. Splash the feather colors are darker to lighter on the same feathers . Which dark blue to almost white are the colors. Unlike paint which would be white feathers then spots of black feathers. I know this is old post. But it is still showing up do . Wanted to clarify.

This would be considered a smutty blue. Looks to have some brien/buff leakage .I was wondering if this chick i just hatched is considered a blue? He looked black with silver streaks while still wet..
