here are some more pics,

i tried to get the combs this time. we are pretty sure oreo and chip are cockerals since they try and crow every morning. And we are pretty sure Dale and Sprinkles are pullets. Gandalf and Abed are the only 2 that we arent too sure of.

Im going to say that Gandalf , Abed AND Chip are cockerals.....ONLY because I have 12 week old EE's with combs no where near that large or red!  Gandalf will be a HANDSOME roo.....

Just an update to end the thread, Gandalf, Abed, Chip and Oreo were cockerals. Dale and Sprinkles are pullets. We kept Gandalf, Sprinkles and Dale it was a hard decision which roo to keep though.

Thanks everyone for the help!

So I just wanted to update everyone who has offered their opinion on this thread...Here are some relatively recent pictures of the 6 EE chicks we got back in early May 2012.  You can look on pages 1-3 for the original pics if you want to compare chick pictures with adult ones :)

Here is Abed the rooster all grown up

And this is Chip the rooster...he is the one closest to the goat's head with the green tail feathers

Here is Dale the hen...she still hasn't laid yet

Here is the rooster we kept - Gandalf.  His tail is a bit longer now: this was taken about a month ago. He has two or so green tail feathers.

And here is little Oreo all grown up!

And finally our hen Sprinkles...she lays dark olive green eggs for us daily!  This is a picture when she was a little younger...late summer. Her comb is really the only thing that has changed though.

Thanks all for your opinions...it was a fun journey getting these little guys and gals and we hope to do it again soon!
