Woke up to find 3 eggs pipped this morning! yippiechickie.gif this will be my last hatch this year - the boys are starting to drop their trains & the girls haven't laid in over two weeks now.

10 laying hens, 7 Welsummer chicks, 6 Cuckoo Marans chicks, 7 peacocks, 3 guineas, 3 dogs, 2 "official" cats & 2 more who just showed up & stayed, 1 green parakeet & 1 retired-but-stays-busy husband!

Hey Frosty !!!!!!!!!!!!! frow.gif That's ok. It's everyone's thread !!!!!!! ya.gif

Thank you.

I only have 2 new peas so far. I had 3 but one didn't make it. hit.gif

I have 5 eggs on lock down in the incubator and 4 eggs under a broody hen. The girls are laying in spurts. They had stopped laying for a couple weeks. I went out last night about 9:00 PM and found another egg. barnie.gif I was hoping laying season was over for them. hit.gif I"m exhausted with all of this incubating and hatching. hmm.png

But I'm still having fun.

When do pea stop laying? hmm.png

Who has new babies? Let's see those cute pics!!!!!!!!!!!! love.gif

My girl is 4 this year and only laid 4 eggs!   barnie.gif So far they look like they are developing nicely in the incubator and due on the 23rd.  Why does time seem to go faster when you don't have eggs in the incubator?

Almost better than my first hatch watching all of your hatches, so exciting.  Next year I'm so anxious.

She started laying on June 13th, laid 4 eggs then quit.  So she started late and ended early.  It's a conspiracy to drive me nuts!
