Rookie mistake...footware for inside coop? - Page 2

It really depends on what you have down as flooring. I have some slogs I got at tractor supply cheap. They are comfy and easy on/off but I don't like to wear anything with open heals in shavings. I make the mistake of cleaning horse stalls in the once. I have very breed of muck boot/ shoe, weasern boot, riding boot you could think of and I usually wear old sneakers for riding and everything else LOL. If its wet, my cheap rubber boots also from tractor supply.

One matronly, yet regal, Light Brahma hen, two Silver-laced Wyandotte hens, two Gold-laced Wyandotte hens, one Black Cochin hen, three Ameraucana hens, one Buff Brahma hen, four sassy Speckled Sussex hens, one Buff Brahma roo, and one nineteen-year old cat who's scared of all of them, especially the roo.

Mule type of sloggers (tsc) for most of the time and rubber rainboots for the really messy days.

An old pair of sneakers.  Previously, a different old pair of sneakers, but my roo absolutely hated those so I switched to my second oldest pair. lol.png
