The back-of-neck-feather things are called hackles.

Yay! Glad the other hens are being more friendly! :D

I am crazy about a lot of things. Chickens, reading, writing stories, and most importantly my King, Jesus. :D

Me too... around 3-4 more days and she can go in (we're quarentining atm. Gonna put Seana in with Ella to see if she has anything. The reason we're doing a shorter quarentine period is because she came from a farm right down the road.). I am SO excited to put her in :D

Day 3

 

Today was pretty awesome. Malibu FINALLY figured out my 'look'. You see, when someone passes by without cuddling or feeding me, then I give the look.

I got to play with Fluffy all day today. It was raining, and I got all wet outside, so I got to be wrapped in a towel and warmed. More cuddle time than usual! I always love it when that happens. I got to see the big chickens for a little bit, and Petrie didn't peck at me. I got my 'Pants' cleaned too! And Malibu helped me take a dirt bath. It was SO much fun! I am no longer as white as I used to be, but for some reason, Malibu seems happier when I roll in dirt. She says something like "You don't stink anymore!", which I don't know why. I don't stink, do I?

 

Malibu likes to use a little box that makes light to make a drawing of me. It's so cool! Now for the 'Pictures'.

 

 

Malibu didn't realize I was out of food until AFTER the picture...
