Feather eating problem

Hi! I have recently noticed that my chickens (14 and 16 weeks) have started to eat feathers. I don't see it a lot, but I don't if it will hurt them. What do I do? Thanks!

Eating feathers normally means they need more protein.  Give them some diced meat scraps, cooked eggs, tuna to give them a boost in protein.

Breeding Welsummers and Barnevelders.

Having an Icelandic in the coop is like having a 2 year old in the house - they are into everything and don't follow the rules.

I have zero chicken willpower.

Great question!  Mine started doing this too and I had no idea what was going on.  Thanks for the info!
