Two hens of an unknown breed and a possible Barred Rock Rooster?

My family bought some chickens form Tractor Supply a couple months ago. The only problem is we don't know what breed two of our chickens are! They were in a brooder with a tag that said Red Pullets- Rhode Island Reds, New Hampshire Reds or Red Sex-links. Three of our girls look like Red Sex-links but two of our girls almost look like Buff Orpingtons!?!? I don't believe that TSC was even selling Orpingtons. So does anyone have any ideas of what breed or hybrid these girls are?DSCN1080.JPG

I know that one of them looks like a roo but...hopefully its not. Its suppose to be a pullet. We also are not sure about one of our Barred Rocks. We think it is a female but it has some traits similar to our roo. DSCN1093.JPG

The one it the back is our Rooster and we thought the one it the front was a hen but she/he is larger then the others, has a bigger comb and waddle and is lighter colored then the other hens. Yet, she/he is not as big as the Rooster and a little darker. They are suppose to be the same age and the Rooster had always been bigger. I know it is kind of hard to tell by the picture. Anyways any ideas? Rooster or Hen on the chicken in the front?

Looks like you have a pair of buff Orpingtons (pullet in front, cockerel in back).  I think your barred Rock is a hen.

I don't have an answer but I can tell you what happened to me. My local store ordered a batch of Buff Orpingtons because I asked and they thought they would sell. The day they came in, I got a call saying the Buff Orpingtons were in. When I got to the store, the employee on chick duty said they were ISA Browns. I'm a novice; I can't tell. I bought one anyway.

Until the chicks sold out, they were sold as ISA Browns. On a slow day, I asked an employee to make sure. She went to the back and two other employees came out and confidently said that Buff Orpingtons had been ordered but never came in, and that they got ISA Browns instead. Well, my chick looked exactly the same as the others and the chicks hadn't had a chance to get mixed when I bought it. It has grown into a mighty fluffy, solid buff-colored bird that looks nothing like an ISA Brown.
