Mine are 13 weeks and are a beautiful irredescent black... But have no copper anywhere!
When should Black Copper Marans pullets get copper feathers on their head and neck?

mine are 8 weeks and one has a good amount of copper...she started showing it a few weeks ago. the other two, not so much, so I'm holding out hope like you but also know that i got some BBS Marans so these solid black ones might stay solid.
Also, I have learned a lot from the current Marans breeder thread
