I'm going to order baby chicks for the first time and i don't know which hatchery to use.  i would prefer one that has fare pricing and that will also vaccinate the hens.  if anyone recommends me a good hatchery, that's great.  thanks for all your help.

I ordered from murry mcmurry hatchery and was very pleased. they vaccinated all my chicks. and marked the roosters. they also threw in a free rare exotic chick which they also vaccinated for free. when i recieved they them they were all in great health. they are six weeks old now and i havent lost any they bigger and stronger everyday.

I have my first chicks that are now 8 days old, got them from My Pet Chicken who I believe gets them from Meyer.  They are fat sassy and very entertaining..no pasty butts, very friendly.

I ordered 10, service was great, they shipped on a monday pm got them tues am.  One did pass away pretty soon after recieving them, I could tell she was ill:(  But the rest of them are healthy so far.

I liked MPC, (Meyer) because I didn't have to order the minimum of 25 that most hatcheries require, they vac'd them as well.  Yes, the shipping was a little pricey (36.00) but it was worth it to get what I wanted when I wanted them.
