Purebred Bantam Chick Assortment (Lots of Pics)

Hi Everyone,

I have had chickens off and on since the 90's. But this is the first time I have ordered chicks. I got a purebred Bantam assortment from Cackle Hatchery. They are all doing good , there are 20 of them. They are 8 days old today. And they seem to really like me which is why I wanted chicks this time. I am not sure what they all are except the 3 silkies. I will post some pictures to see is anyone knows what the different one are. DSC00581.JPG

I have 2 of these. Gray and white, feathered legs and just starting to get beards (I think).DSC00614.JPGSame kind here. DSC00642.JPG

I only have 1 like this one. White with black spotted feathers coming in, bare legs, and a two tone beak.DSC00577.JPG

We have 2 of these silver striped. The have feathered legs and are growing fast.DSC00570.JPG

We have 2 of these black ones. Bare black legs and grayish rump.DSC00590.JPG

I only have one like this. Seems to be white with a silver mist over her, with feathered legs.DSC00610.JPG

Love this little one. It is so tiny but doing great. We seem to have 3 this color. The other 2 are bigger and one has less markings around the eyes. They have bare legs.

We have 2 of the one in the background of this picture. They have beards and feathered legs. Millie Fleur?DSC00615.JPG

Barred Rock I think with feathered legs. Only 1 of these.DSC00626.JPG

See the little gray face on the left looking over someones rump? There is only 1 like this. Sleek, bare legs all gray. I am thinking a Self Blue but not sure. The other is the tiny chick again.DSC00624.JPG

Can't forget the Silkies. There are 3 of them. One had bent feet when it got here. I fixed her up with some band aids and now I took the band aids off and she is doing great. There are also 2 other white chicks, one bare legged and one feathered legs. They are all very sweet. I just love them.

I Am Blessed!!!

These are just the cutest little chicks! I wish I had an idea of what any of them are, hah. I am interested to see what other people think they are.

Thank you. I am really curious about the ones in the first pictures. The gray and white. Their faces look like little gray Puffins or Penguins. They did not have beards at first, they just started getting them.I can't find pictures online of Chicks that look like them. I just fed them all a scrambled egg and now they are going to sleep. Nice that they sleep through the night so soundly.

Cool, I would never have thought to look up Lavender to find pictures like them. Do all Millie Fleurs have beards or is it the D'Uccle that gives them the beards? Just wondering and learning. Thank you.

the one you call a barred rock is actually a barred cochin as rocks never have feathered legs

So the 2 little red ones would be D'Uccles too.
