Free to a Good Home:
FREE Beautiful black/white/green EE Roo to a good home

Will Ship To: Anywhere

I need to find a good home for my beautiful EE Roo.  He is about 3 months old.  He is super friendly and loves people.  He is used to being handled.  He is also very gentle, and gets along with all the other chickens- including several guineas that are only 1/4 his size in the run.

The picture of him is not the best.  He is starting to get emerald green around his neck and he has a BEAUTIFUL emerald green tail.  He has adorable ear muffs.  He is going to be super fancy :)  He would make some beautiful babies!

I prefer he goes to someone locally to lessen stress on him, but if you are willing to pay shipping, I would also ship him to you.  We are located in the East Mountains in New Mexico.  I hate that I have to get rid of him, but I have close neighbors :(  Feel free to PM me.

Shares a home with my wonderful military husband, 2 horses, 3 dogs (Golden Retriever, Australian Shepherd, Great Pyrenees), 2 cats,

2 EEs

1 golden comet

1 rhode island red

1 buff orphington,

1 barred rock

1 golden lakenvelder/vorwerk

2 black silkies

Has he crowed or how do you know he's a roo?  Just curious because I have one I'm wondering about.

He has not crowed yet.  He is bigger than all the other chickens, and his color indicates that he is a boy :(  Hens don't get the flashy bright colored tails.

I really wished I lived closer....my girls would love to have a Roo in the coop. Shipping this far would be a bit too stressful with the heat. Good luck, he's a beautiful bird.
