Your going to get me in trouble with my hubby.wink.png. He already thinks I've gone overboard! I want a blue hen in my mix, I was going to wait until next round, but now I might not.LOL

Here is my and my neighbors current clutch, I'm keeping 1-2 green/blue eggs if they are hens and letting my broody raise them. I just set up her protected space in the coop today.

I'm looking forward to a barred Easter egger! Ohhhh, another black/darker hen!

Last year my limit was 2 hens and NO MORE! Ugh, I've turned over to the dark side and am officially addicted to chickens! I had asked hubby if we could move to a farm, but it's a no go with the kids still young and friends near by.

Anyway, I hope my neighbor picks up that BLRW boy today. She was pretty excited and already contacted the seller yesterday.

Oh, my light brahma is the sweetest chick in the entire flock. She comes running to me every single time she sees me in the yard. She's even sweeter then our d'uccle. I'm very lucky to have such a nice flock of hens!

I wish he was mine! However, my neighbor will let me breed my girls or use hers at any time. We are in this together. We look out for each others hens if we see a hawk in the sky or dog in the yard.

I just told my husband that instead of buying chicks at the store, we can start hatching with a broody or buying an incubator. He thought that was a good idea even though we need to rehome the boys.

I see some online I want really badly too.
