Suzette is 4 yo salmon faverolles that hatched some eggs(various breeds it now seems!!)Was trying for only black australorps but live and learn they say. There is ONE salmon faverolles/ba(upper left corner) and the rest seem to be ba/barred rock or there are some JUST ba's I hope. confusing. The chix are almost 5 wo and just at the awkward/gangly stage. will be gorgeous as adults I am sure. The chix are skittish because not handled like my box raised chix but have a request from a neighbor for a roo , as pet, so will possibly start handling possible roos. Suzettes has done a wonderful job(and as you might see in pic her feathers have suffered from weeks of chix living on her!)
