Just wanted to let everyone know how glad I am I found the byc. I have learned so much from other readers. My family is new to raising chickens but picking up quick. We have 8 laying hens 2 Brahmas 2 Rhodes island reds 2 aracaunas and 2 silver laced wyndotes they are about 4 months so not laying just yet but soon. We have a mated pair of bantam cochins who have 5 chicks and 10 eggs right now. We also have 5 buff orpington pullets and 3 silkies about 6 weeks old. We are raising them for eggs meat and hopefully some for showing. Anyway thats enough for now.
