Well even though most of my males are not yet a year old they have been making the mating call pretty regular, they sound like a bunch of allycats, and of course i call back at them and they all get going.

Well a little while ago they started and i called back, next thing i see is my cameo peahen making the mating call and yes she is a hen.

I guess all the younger onces picked up the matting call from my older guy but i never figured a hen would call also.

Anyone else know if this is normal for a hen?
