Pharaoh smiled, enjoying the petting. It then dawned on him.. He'd have to choose; daisy or being a pet? He decided that he'd wait until morning to decide. He decided to amuse them, so he crowed. He waited to see weather It amused them or not.

"No, no, no, no, no, no, no! Gabby, we are not keeping him!!!" the hen told her. "Who said we were?" the rooster said. "Gabby, if you want, you can visit him every day." "I will. Hear that? Every day in the morning at 11 i will come, Marsh. I promise. I hope you will to." Gabby said, a tear coming to her eye.

Gabby watched happily. "Oh, mom. Look at him, you cant tell me you dont love it!" Even the hen had to smile. The dog cocked its head and watched.

Mason watched horrified. He wouldnt leave.

 

The girl looked to the bushes. "You do have a friend. He must be shy. Oh well, if he really wants to come out, he will" she said shrugging.

"Awww" "Careful Gabby, he might have rabies" the hen said. "Chickens dont get rabies" Gabby shot back. "Gabby, its getting late, im afraid you should say good night to Marsh." The rooster told her. "OK" she carefully picked him up and put him on the ground. The hen and young chick went into the buildings. "I want to smother the fire, you need to sleep" the rooster told Gabby. She said good night to Pharaoh and went into a  small building.
