Heather was near the middle of camp, near the oak tree. "Ahh, Pharaoh. Come" she flew up to a branch on the tree.

Pharaoh flew up with her. I wonder what's happening.. He thought.

Pharaoh was shocked. He loved his friend, and didn't want to leave her. But wanted to stay in the flock. "I... I..." He started to say, then said "I can't. She.. reminds me of a little human I once knew. I loved her so much." He explained. "I... I'm torn. I love being here, but I love her.. is there anything else I can do?" He asked, staring down at the ground.

Heather shook her head. "You must choose between the flock and the humans. Tell me Pharaoh, why did the warrior Golden and her mate flee to the woods?" she asked, feeling a little bad for him.

"To escape humans." He said. "I... I have to think." He said, he hopped down, dissapearing into the clearing and where the humans were. He hid in the bush, waiting to say goodbye to his friend.

Heather watched him outraged. She took a deep breath. "Mason" she called. "Watch Pharaoh. If he visits her again tell me" she told him quietly.

Pharaoh decided it'd be best to get back to camp, so he wrote in the sand, 'By.', hoping that's how you spell it. He drew an odd shaped heart, so she'd know it was him. Then he headed back to camp, saddened greatly. He walked into a clearing, then into his little tree hideout.

Mason watched him smiling. He walked over to Heather. "He did not meet with her" he said. "Good, keep watching" she answered. Mason went to a tree and roosted. He kept his eye out for Pharaoh though.
