can you incubate eggs from a hen on antibiotics?

My flock caught a cold and are on antibiotics. I am pretty sure I can't eat the eggs, but I was curious if I could incubate them. Does anyone have information on this?

I've been advised not to incubate eggs from chickens while they are on meds. Some meds also have a withdrawal period of a week to 2 weeks. I'd say rather wait a bit.

If they have one of the cronic respitory diseases they can pass that on to their offspring.

So basically I have to throw away all of the eggs for around two weeks after the meds are done? That's kind of what I figured. I was just hoping that if I couldn't eat them, I could hatch them. Darn. Thanks for the info.

What you can do is cook them and feed them back to the hens. Then you don't have to waste it.
