Is my little easter egg bantam going to be an egg layer or a roo?
to early and it looks like an old english game instead
Looks like either a silver duck wing old english game or a golden duck wing old english game to me...and if it is it is pullet...because old english games hens are colored different than the roos.
my games are never tame they are wild lol no matter how often ive handled them, thats why they are such a good breed for free ranging to me (they are flighty) sparing doesnt mean any thing pullets/hens will do the same thing wait till its fully feathered out in a few more weeks
Well the place I bought her said she was a ameraucana bantam but they also sold me silkies as d'uccles, so I hope y'all are correct . But there is this site image & this is a pretty good comparison to her as a chick, although she now has several feathers & still has the chipmunk look. Are these her final feathers,or will she molt into a different adult look? http://www.ameraucana.org/scrapbook_files/silverb.jpg
