Hi from Omaha

Thread Starter

Hello everyone!
Im new here and new to chickens. I live in Omaha, NE and I just started building my coop today.

I have a friend who bought some chicks and he has offered me some of them since he has "extra".

In Omaha we need a permit to raise chickens (Im sure most know this) so I am waiting on that as

well as getting my coop built.

I thought I would drop in and introduce myself.

If anyone in Omaha needs a hand with building anything, Id offer my services also.

Thanks for having me!!!!!

Hi Jim!

I took my permit in Monday so Im hoping to have mine early next week.

My coop is 4x8. I wanted to try and keep it inexpensive for now. I can always add on later.
