I'm not convinced she is a she!

Count the campfires by glowing flames, never by the ashes that fall. Count your days by the golden hours, don't remember clouds at all. Count the nights by stars, not by shadows. Count your life by smiles, not by tears. And with joy on every birthday, count your age by friends-not years.

me either....lol  her comb is getting pretty red.....  I was thinking maybe he he cossed another frizzle chicken type with a silkie and was calling it a silkie frizzle... I was thinking maybe cochin.....  she is very pretty.. pics are no justice and she is soooo sweet.... she laid down on the edge of my coffee table and closed her eyes as I pet her... when we were taking pix... she has super long feathers on her tooties...   or his tootsies...    we heard someone crow the other day... and the oldest roo I knowingly own is 4 wks old...

I assumed it was a pullet...  as I heard they do that sometimes when they are teenagers...   and it sounded young...    she looks like a cockatoo mix... ...  know that is not possible... but at least I will stop calling it a silkie....

This is the other chick... that was purchased with the white one....  on buff silkie and one supposed silkie frizzle.   The white and silver aka silkie frizzle is actually a little smaller than the buff.. but they seem to have the same shaped head and large eye and body under all her long feathers...  I am glad she is not frizzled..

Looks like a sizzle. Silkie crossed with Frizzle cochin. They dont always have frizzled feathers. I have one. When "making frizzles", you use normal feather bird  crossed with frizzle feathered. Some hatch frizzle some hatch smooth feathered.

My bird is an example of that- looks like yours is, as well.
