Thinking of adding a new duckling

I currently have a drake and a duck. I have had the duck for about 16 months and the drake since February as our previous drake obtained with the duck was attacked and sadly died. I am now thinking of getting one or two new ducklings. As I have only ever introduced an adult duck to another adult duck I was wondering if you think they would accept new ducklings and if they would pose a danger due to being larger? Also I would like Call Ducks but wasn't sure if a smaller duck breed would do well with larger breeds. My drake is a mallard and my duck is a white campbell. Any help would be great thanks!

I would be real careful when adding new ducklings, I have read some adult ducks will kill ducklings. I have adults and I waited until my new ducklings were starting to feather out before I introduced them. Everything is going good so far.

I thought that might be the case. With that in mind if I were to add adult call ducks how do you think think they would get on with my current ducks? The female is quite bossy and didn't get on with the male at first but after a few days she was fine. Any new ducks I add will be female as well because I know that more than 1 male around a female can cause disputes. I'm just worried about them being smaller. Any help appreciated again thanks.

I have 6 hens and one drake.  The drake was here first and we added the girls all 3 or 4 different times.  They always have a period of adjustment (which is usually worse for me than them).  But after a bit they work it all out and are fine.

All the ducks are on the larger size (runners, muscovies, had a pekin, and one mixed breed).  I'd be careful mixing the mini breeds with the full size.  As I understand it, and I don't know much about keeping Call ducks, they need a different type of set up than the larger breeds.  So that in itself might be difficult.  Plus the large drake could possibly hurt a small call during mating.

There is probably someone on here who will chime in with better info, but I think I am on the right track.

Thanks for the help. Think I'll just stick to the larger breeds for now then.
