Chicken Tunnel - Need Dimension Advice

The easiest way I've seen to make a chunnel is to take a 4 foot wide roll of half inch hardware cloth, and cut off a length of the roll, that's the same length as you want your tunnel to be. Then roll the wire longways, like a giant cigarette, with a 4 inch lap along the length of the hardware cloth, that you zip tie, so the giant cigarette doesn't unroll.

Crimp the last inch of the zip tie in a fish hook shape, then push the zip tie into the lap of the hardware cloth, pull the zip tie back up, the end through a different hole in the hardware cloth, then zip it. Repeat every few feet.

It's as simple as that, the chickens will be in a predator proof chunnel, to where ever you want them to go.

The chickens run along the bottom of the round tube easily.

It's also nice because you're not cutting anything but the end of the chunnel, so there won't be any sharp edges on the lap of the hardware cloth.

I will be making these, minus the floor part, so my hens can go out front but not go on my deck !! Which I know this year they will, I just know it.

I am thinking a 3 foot tall 2x4 inch wire would work well enough. not planning on using it in Winter.

Any help/specific pictures on a 90 degree turn in one of these tunnels? I can get my head round it if it was square but the semi circle is throwing me off

If you use the round tunnel made from half inch hardware cloth, just take tin snips and cut a 45 degree angle in the two ends of the tunnel that will form the 90 degree turn, then just zip tie the two ends together, and you've got your turn.

I use chicken tunnels made for transporting, isolating a chicken and connecting runs.

The one on the left is a 1'x'1x3' tunnel I use to transport chicken for one location to another. The ones on right are for isolating chickens from one another and also connecting between larger tunnels I use in the garden. I use 2"x4" galvanized fencing for the arch and floor and cover the with 1/2" hardware cloth so chicken feet won't fall through when I pick them up. Each section is secured to the other with double gated fabric hooks. One foot high is large enough for large breeds to easily move through.

I don't use them very often as I usually just pick the chickens up when I move them around, but I have used them when transporting chicken in a vehicle. In the picture above the small tunnels are at this end of the run for storage.
Can I purchase these anywhere or did you make them only for you?
I would love to buy this chicken tunnels from you. Do you build and sale them.
