Those don't look like Spanish Black Turkeys. Possibly bronze turkeys.

Definately not black spanish..... I'd say that they are either Narragansetts or a mix of sorts.... here are 3 links to pictures of a black spanish, broad breasted bronze and also a narragansett......

It does look like you do have one male (left) and one female (right) on the second picture....at least he got that one correct.  big_smile.png  Now you can have babies.  lol

Oh my - I would love a turkey... had no idea that there was different breeds! I looked at the pictures and just went "EASY! THEY'RE TURKIES!"

22 year old proud Rescue Mama of one dainty hairless Chinese Crested lady dog, one ditsy Pug cross Brussels Griffon lady dog, one arrogant Long Haired Domestic boy cat, one confused Long Haired Domestic girl cat, yet another geriatric Domestic Long Haired boy cat, six variously bred hens, then there is a housemate AND the soon-to-be husband! All in residential suburbia!

They look like Bronze to me, not Narri.  And my guess would be both males.  Watch the breast feathers, if they are egded in white, it will be a hen.

Editing to add that in the picture by the feeder, the one on the right does look like a possible hen, the head and neck just look balder than I would expect...

Both birds are Bronze, poorly marked, but still Bronze, not Narragansett, not Black. (Spanish is an incorrect usage that many hatcheries still cling to, but officially the breed is recognized as simply Black.) Most feed store clerks are like pet store clerks; well meaning folks, but often with very little correct knowledge about the animals which their jobs would indicate they know more about.

You folks are really good at I.D. of the different breeds all I see is Turkey Butts and Backs LOL if I were to make a guess I would need to have a full frontal shot.

Even from those limited views there are no other breeds that they could be. They are obviously not Blacks, with the white markings. Even the worst colored Narragansett is not that dark.
