Dang, I'm fighting mites again this summer.  Last week I armed myself with 3 canisters of Sevin dust, a tarp and my mask.  I layed them on the tarp, held them by the legs and dusted the heck out of them-vent, under wings, all over their back and neck, everywhere.  I was so thorough.  Then I cleaned out the coop and sprayed with the Sevin bottle that hooks up to the hose and sprayed everything in the coop including the walls, roosts, boxes etc.  That was a Wed.  Just for the heck of it I checked them on Fri.  and they were still buggy!  It had only been two days!  What's up with that?  I would have thought the dust residue would have remained on them after two days.  Anyone else have that experience?  I was covered in it myself.  Glad I wore a mask.

Going to pick up Adams Dip tomorrow.  I had good luck with that last summer.
