Hi, Folks!! I am new to the chicken world but WOW do I love them. A few months ago my 8yr old son asked if we could get chickens- "just 2 mom, a boy and a girl" lol...well we ended up with "the girls"- 3 Black Australorps and 3 Barred Rocks we bought as pullets. We fell in love with them and chickens in general- it's such a fun hobby! We just added 5 Silkie chicks to our flock, and we hope to add Wyandottes, Cochins and Orphingtons as soon as I can get the coops built.

I hope you do add some Wyandottes to your flock, but then, I'm partial to the breed.
