Boy on his own

We have six chicks. So far i have sexed two boys for sure.  One of them sits on his own a lot - all the others go off to feed and drink and he just sits.  He does eat, but doesn't seem as bothered about being in a group,

I put a roosting perch in last night and today he was sitting on it while all the others were huddled together

Now he is sitting at the far end of the brooder, away from the light and the others.  Not one has ever left the heat of the light yet other than for food!

Is there need to be concerned, or is he just being an independent boy?

Is he active? Eating, drinking, pooping o.k? Maybe he is just a little anti-social hu.gif

He eats and drinks, just not at the same time as the others.  He'll move about etc too.  he's back with the group now. I wondered if he maybe just didn't feel the cold as much and was being a stroppy boy haha

Here is a photo of them back together.  One boy on the perch. One in a corner.  The girls in another corner.  I think they have all had an argument!Photo 19-06-2012 21 14 22.jpg
