I have two orphingtons, appx 4-5 weeks old. They are supposed to be female [said the lady who sold them to my friend and I] It looks like one is a bit different than the other.

I know there's no way to know for sure [minus testing] until they crow or lay eggs, but what do you think?

Poop Chickens eyes are more slanted than Popcorn Chickens...she looks like she's glaring at you when you face her head on :)

Actually there are ways to tell before they crow or lay an egg. Like..

There neck feathers (hackle feather)
there feathers rite under the wing (saddle feathers)

They will both be very pointed at the ends and if they have them very pointed then there rooster.
Also the rooster have big bright combs and wattles. So far to me you chicks look like girls but I'm no expert.

I have buffs also and they look like my hens when they were that little. I purchased some New Hampshires all were supposed to be hens well one ended up a rooster you could tell she was a he about 4 weeks his cone was really red and alot bigger then what your pic is. Good luck !!!
