What types of chicks are these?

They're about 4 weeks old (the first one is 4, the second one is about 3), and I have no idea what they are! The golden one was supposed to be a white leghorn, but it doesn't have any white feathers AT ALL (I've raised many leghorns and I am a master at what they look like)! But anyways, I think he's a gold sex link, but I'm not sure. Feedback would be great!!!!! big_smile.png big_smile.png big_smile.png

And here is the second one, who I don't even have a clue of what she is! I do know that she's pretty nice, and has MANY feathers on her feet. When she was young she was kind of cream color, but now her incoming feathers are black. Do you know what kind this one is? smile.png

Thank you for your time!!!!!!!!

The first one might be Buff Orpington. It's the right color and shape with pink/white legs. I have one and she is very sweet.

Sorry, don't know about the other.

I was about to say pretty much exactly the same thing, but I guess now I don't have to. :)

I have 2 Buff Opringtons about the same age as your (whatever breed is is) and that what they look like.

My sweet puppy, Maggie (1yo), 3 adorable baby pet rats, Darby, Lilah, and Faye, 3 cats, 2 bunnies, a goldfish named Ghoti (pronounced "Fish"), 1 Khaki Campbell duckling, 1 Magpie duckling, and lots and lots of chickens!

#2 looks kind of like a cochin, but not feathery enough. :\

I can't be for sure, but the second one looks like a Salmon Faverolles cockerel. You said it was lighter and feathered in darker? - That's typical of SF roos....

Number 2 chick looks more like a D'Uccle. Can you get more pictures of the little one?

No, but I just took these. Her head is the color of what she was when she was a day old, and her wings and back are now. Also, her feet are greenish if that helps! smile.png
