I have decided to remain in denial so I am going to keep it until it starts crowing roll.png

I'm new to this too but I've got to tell you that I have a BR too and she is 9 weeks old. Her comb is maybe 1/4 t0 1/2  the size of your's and her wattles aren't visible yet. Sorry hugs.gif But, I guess in the chicken world "it's not over till the fat, cockerel crows".fl.gif

I just checked my pictures of my BR hens. Their combs weren't nearly that big at 2 months old.

I lived in the "denial phase" with my favorite Polish.  Then the crowing started -- very quickly and very loudly.  It took me three days to find a home, and each one of those mornings at about 5 a.m. I was racing outside to shut him up.

yuckyuck.gif I had a rooster once and had to keep it in my room for a few days ep.gif he was my very first chicken but after a few days I was really glad to see him go!!!

All of these chicks are too young to have saddle feathers. Those come in roughly around 3 months (12 weeks). We'd need shots of the rest of the bodies to tell sex on those chicks.

The remaining 6 of my original 7 barred rocks are 3yrs old and happily divided between a friend and my mom.
Laying: 2 Partridge Rocks, 1 Columbian Wyandotte and 2 Black Australorps. 14 weeks: 3 bantam Araucana.
Cowed to chicken math and sharing my bedroom with 8 BBS Ameraucana mixes.
