I dont believe we need most laws and I support your friends right to make his own decisions. Personally, I think that God put me here for lessons. I totally agree with YOUR "ANALYSIS" !!!
My seat-belt OR my helmet is MY CHOICE....and so are the "DRUGS" I CHOOSE to use (or not) prescribed by "my" Doctors....(Rheumatologists, Cardiologists, and other SELF-CENTERED, POWER-CENTRIC, idiots ) !!!
I do "much better" when I don't "follow their advice". ( BUT...IF I tell THEM ...WHY...my "tests" are BETTER....WE are in an "argument" about their education and knowledge vs my "autodidactic" RESEARCH ! ......I guess that THEY are convinced that since my "formal education" ENDED before College Graduation....I'm a DUMMY. )
Too MANY B S T laws...... ( and people don't seem to REALIZE that EVERY "LAW" that controls their "crazy neighbor" ...ALSO steals their own "God-Given Liberties" !!! )
Due to your "insight"....I will say to you....that I would "go-jeeping" with YOU anytime !
( although I'm NOW too-danged-old and disabled....I've done a LOT of THAT !!! )
BEST to YOU !!!
