Ahhh my barred rock pecked my eyeball!!!!!!!!! Ouch!

I have 1 Barred Rock*, 1 Production Red*, 1 Mix/Mutt*,1 Jersey Giant*, & 1 Silkie.

*Laying

I also have 1 red standard poodle, 1 Miniature Boston Terrier, 1 Kitty, and 2 turtles.

 

I love my chickens who are loyal and fun! :)

When you clip nails have Quick Stop or another styptic powder on hand.  It stops the bleading if you nick the quick (The part of the nail that is still alive.)  I used to have silkie hens and they never needed triming, but we had very rocky soil.
