Warning: Spoiler! (Click to show)
hi hi there, my eggs gave been in the incubator now for 17 days, they are due to hatch on a Wednesday, which day should I stop turning them?

Most people stop on day 18 or 19. Then keep the humidity at like 65% during lock down. I can't stress this enough DO NOT OPEN THE INCUBATOR DURING LOCK DOWN! The causes the humidity to drop and can cause chicks to get stuck and not be able to hatch. Good luck hatchingjumpy.gif

Oh great thank you, but if I open the lid once or twice is guaranteed that they will not hatch as healthy chicks?

If you open it once you could probably be fine. Just I wouldn't open it until the majority are hatched. Usually that is what I do. This is so I can get all the hatched ones out so they aren't messing with the other too much. Also I would like to add that helping a chick hatch isn't a good idea. I did it once and the chick was deformed.
