humidity?

I am incubating for the first time.  I opted to just get a cheap incubator for now, so I got the hovabator still air one.  I purchased a digital thermometer/hygrometer with a probe and tested it against my big (and expensive) indoor/outdoor weather station. The temp and humidity of both were the same, and the temp has been close to the chepie one that came with the incubator- so they are probably close to be ing accurate.  This am, the humidty level in my incubator was 67%! (I am currently on day 4)  I quickly poured out all of the water in the incubator and left a few paper towels in there to absorb moisture.  Is there anything else I can do to drop the humidity?  How bad will this hurt my babies?  I candled a few of the white ones last night and saw some veins!  That is so neat to see.

It probably didn't hurt the eggs any, the humidity can only be a problem over a longer period of time. Our summers where I live are very humid as it is so I don't even add water at all to my bators this time of year. Only for the hatch.
