I know! I was actually shock.... Im watching the temp cause it was on the low side this morning and i heard the faint chirp..... I didnt expect anything today maybe some egg rocking but no pipping... Im a nervous wreck...i now can relate to how my husband must have felt when i was in labor ...

I have Arabian horses, show pigs, four dogs, a barn cat, a rabbit.

I then raise with my family

        peafowl; Black shoulder pied, Black shoulder, White, Indian Blue.

Squee! I just went out to the coop to check on my broodies. One of them was off the nest for her daily dust bath/feeding so I picked up the egg to see if I could hear anything and the egg moved! I'm so eggcited! Hope they both are alive, I didn't check the second one.

how exciting cotton!!

 

got home from a quick trip to the store went to check temp and humidity levels and saw an egg move... went back in 5 mins later to find it had pipped! 

so i have 2 pips... have heard the faintest of peeping (i sooo thought i imagine it ) ((knowing myself i probably did ;) 

 

aww thanks for the hugs chickster... my 4 year old keeps telling them to hatch already, she's excited but not nearly as nervous as i am. hoping to she will be home or up to catch it zipping .....

I had to candle my 2nd bator . For the past couple of days I kept smelling a stinker. My son said it was worse today. I found it alright. It had a small tiny pin hole in it. It had only be n for 2 weeks. My daughter thought we could wax it like we did the other one. Not this one. YUCK!!
