I have a pip!!! I know it's early, but some of them had been under a broody and I'm assuming this is one. It's a triangular shaped crack. I thought one had gotten cracked, but upon picking it up, it moved!!! Should I up the humidity in the bator, even though the others aren't due for a while???

I would.... So u dont risk shrink wrap and id not open the incubator anymore.... But thats just what i would do... But im a newbie

I have a fuzzy butt! It's way early... but oh well. Candled today and everybody seems fine.

He is a little rough on the eggs, but I'm leaving him in the bator until he's less alien looking and stronger xD

I am soooo jealous right now! Haha! I got back home early this morning and guess what was the first thing I did! I candled my eggs. smile.png

Out of the 7, one doesn't look quite right. Its veins are dark and it didn't really move except when I turned it. I'm thinking its dead. But the other 6 loom great. I will wait till lockdown to discard it, just in case.

I'm having temp trouble with one of my incubators.  Is it awful to change them to one that is stable (has been for 24 hrs now)?  I'm scared to do it, but if I don't I'm scared my babies will be in more trouble.

Yeah, if the temps are fluctuating too high or low, I would switch them to a stable incubator. As long as they aren't out long they will be fine.

Thanks.  I'll be changing them over.  I've been standing over this incubator with 2 thermometers in it.  It's driving me insane.  It's brand new so, I think it is just very touchie.
