I think my duck stepped on a bee

One of my runner ducks came up suddenly lame and when looking at her foot I found what looked like a very small fine thorn. I think it was a bee stinger as the bees are all over in the clover right now. I got it all scraped out and she had a drop of blood form. We put her in the pool so she could wash it out. Now she is standing around on one leg looking sad. She forgets to put the injured foot down before she walks and keeps falling over. We have her in the shade now napping with her buddies. Is there anything special I should do for her?

Well that's a new take on "bumble foot" !

Hope your IR is ok.

Keep an eye on her, if you can keep her in some coolish water that may help.  If you use herbal remedies some crushed dock on the sting may help.

Some use baking soda.

How is she now?

Back to normal this a.m.

No swelling, heat, or redness. I cant even see the spot where the stinger was.
