Can chicks raise their feathers like cats sometimes do?

My 6week old EE chick did this a few days ago. I wanted to know if I was seeing things. She was carrying a treat.

Yes they can.It shows either if their threatened or mad.Mine sometimes do this too but sometimes they just fluff up for no reason hahalol.png

Animals deserve the same respect we do.You treat them right and they will do that exact favor in return.LOVE THEM ALL!!!

Oh yeah, they can definitely raise their feathers and poof up - my girls got into a little poof "fight" it seemed over a piece of strawberry the other day *sigh* roll.png Thankfully nothing happened.

Haha what a bird would do for food! I think its just hilarious when 1 bird finds a worm or something and all of the others start chasing it like a game of tag hahalau.gif
