Kids are hatching!!! 3 cute peachcicks :) - Page 7

What a cutie, that last little pied has to be a boy if he fans all the time.

I am for sure the silver pied white (Shadow) is a girl and my pied male (Chance) is a boy.  She has always been smaller than him but she whines like crazy when he is content to lay on the floor. That is how Cricket was...whining and needing to be held.  Chance is more independent.   My friend Jennifer has Chocobo.  He will be very stunning as an adult, his silver pied markings are incredible and we think he is a male.  I'm happy with Chance and Shadow now.  S makes cuddle noises long before C does.  Last night C was missing and I searched the house he was under a blanket in my spare bedroom.  Almost like raising children!

Well, my friend Jennifer, is here, she has Chocobo with her.  I'm going to keep him.  We are very surprised as he is much smaller than my two and is not quite as active, mine are extremely hyper and I hardly ever can sneak by their pen without being harassed smile.png.  He walks a little funny as well.  She thought something might be up with him since he was not growing much.  We are thinking it is a vitamin deficiency so I put Sav-a-Chik in the water.  Another possibility we were thinking is bad genetics?  She lives in an apartment and he's been mostly indoors whereas I take mine out every day and go "bug-catching" with them.  Mine are literally twice the size of this little guy.  Too bad b/c he has the best markings.  They all hatched on the same day.  I think he'll be okay, I'll start him on the routine I have here starting tomorrow.  As if raising two wasn't enough roll.png.

Here's some visuals to show the size difference.

Don't worry about Chocobo - I'm sure he will flourish once you start pampering him!

He is certainly a cute little guy. Thanks for the pictures!
