10 wk old Polish Male?

Nice rounded crest like a girl. It is perfectly formed. But it has wattles like a boy. No sign of a comb yet.chickens 10 wks old 014.JPG

It does not act aggressive like my other breeds of cockerels. The feathers on the neck and back look rounded to me.chickens 10 wks old 016.JPG

That's definitely a female.

I don't know.  Those wattles are kinda big and red.  hide.gif  My 14 week old Polish that I "think" is a girl has no wattles at all.

This is so confusing. I wish they were easier to sex. I had a polish breeder come and look at her yesterday and she is 80 percent sure it is a girl. She looked at the crest and for signs of hackle or saddle feathers. She didn't see any signs of it being male other than the wattles. She said last year she had a young bird with wattles and kept it because she needed another male but it turned out to be a girl. I guess I am just playing the waiting game to see if she crows or lays eggs.
