Possibly.  We've been steady at 3 eggs/day for the past week from our five hens, when we had been doing steady 4-5 eggs/day over the past three months.  This is the first summer ours have really gone through in full plumage, though (we got them as day-olds July 6th of last year), so it's understandable.  They definitely have panting down, especially our poor EE, so we can't blame them and just do our best to keep them as cool as feasible for having to wear down coats in high summer.

My girls don't like this heat and instead of 4-6 eggs I'm getting 2-3 from my 6 hens.

That's what I'm sayin'. Although I got three yesterday and it was the hottest day of the year. I had to put a fan in the coop to get the temp down from 104 degrees. The girls slept comfortably last night.
