Is my RIR a Rooster or Hen?

I am having a hard time being able to tell if my Rhode Island Red chicken is a rooster or a hen.. can anyone help?

It does have some darker feathers coming in on its neck/back and has a fairly defined comb and wattle, which makes me think it is a rooster.  What are your thoughts??

Its not a great picture, maybe if we could see him standing, but so far it looks very much like a rooster.

And not a RIR.  I agree a better photo(s) would help on the sexing.

Op bird is a cockeral, maybe some type of hatchery red but not a rhode island red.

Well, the kittens aren't so cute anymore and the easter egger cockerels are in the freezer. Plus, I think offering them as "prizes" scared folks off! So, I'm still posting quotes, if you know it let me know. I'm very enamored of this new one, it may hang around for a while!

Rooster or hen?

These are two additional pictures of the same chicken I first posted at the start of this thread.  Are these any better for identifying?  I am still having a tough time deciding if it is a rooster or a hen.  What are your thoughts?  Also, I think it is a rhode island red, at least that is what they guy I bought it from told me.
