What age can you stop worrying about poults getting chilled?

Thread Starter

My 4 poults have survived to 4 weeks with no issues so far, knock on wood.

I still provide them with a 150 watt heat lamp at night.
During warm days which we've had a lot of recently (80's - 90's) they go out

in a large portable dog kennel I set up on some ground that hasn't been used

that much by my waterfowl.

At what age/temps can I stop providing the heat lamp at night

and what day time temps are safe for them to be outside in?
I have a tarp on 3/4 top of the pen and perches so they have protection from light rain

but I haven't put them out on windy or stormy days, just warm, sunny day.
Thanks much for any advise.
