My Buff Orpington Penny and my Golden Laced Wyandotte Abigail chilling in the chickie pool to beat the heat!  (mind you, both are blind, so their eyes are different colors!)

That's so precious.

My hens will NOT stand in water.  They FREAK out.  We're fortunately that it doesn't get too hot where we live but we do have our hot days and I feel so bad for them.

I think I'll try putting a fan in their run and see if they like that better.

So sweet love.gif  Your girls don't seem to have a mean bone in their little bodies.  Even Gloria :)

Whoever said don't count your chickens before they're hatched clearly never tried to count chickens after they're hatched.

Penny loves the water, but none of the other girls "love" it.  Gloria, Sophia and Abby will stand it for a few minutes..... Lucy and Nellie dispise it though.   They'll hop right out, even if they are panting from the heat!

<3 I LOVE these pics!  Everybody looks so sweet together! love.gif

A friend told me I was delusional. I almost fell off my unicorn.

I smile because I have no idea what's going on.  :D

When life gives you lemons, turn around and squeeze 'em back in life's eyes.

My room is not messy, I simply have everything on display for everyone to see. Like a museum.

That's really cute!! Do they get around fine without their eyesight? Do you know what made them go blind, or were they born that way? They are very sweet!! love.gif
