Any big game hunters here? Chickens by day, deer by evening (in season)?

I was wondering who, besides my family, likes to hunt big hame.  I'd love to talk shop with some other ladies or guys, who don't object to bringing home their own red meat.

What do you hunt?  What do you shoot?  Whats your Ammo?

I just bought a Browning x-bolt Stalker .305 w/ Nikon Prostaff for my first deer hunt this fall.  wee.gif

Why don't sheep shrink in the rain?

Why is there brail at drive up ATMs??

Why are their floatation devices instead of parachutes in my airplain seat???

If a tree falls in the woods and my husband doesn't hear it, am I still wrong????

ILL JOIN !! Lol

I have a .22 rifle, that switches out to a .410 shotgun. I want a bigger caliber, I might try and shoot my MOMS shotgun (n ot sure the caliber) cause she saws it has no kick :) I like to hunt grouse, ruffed are the best but they have some smarts so their hard to bag so we usually get spruce grouse, bleh. My sister ikes them tho so we get 'em, man are those things dumb. I shot at one 7 times, and it just stood there then started to walk SLOW away, LOL. Once i got a clean shot, usually they are flapping, but this fell like a bag of rocks !

Yeah, I think any hunting really is welcome!  I've never hunted grouse.  For the little ones around here there pheasant, quail, rabbit, squirrel, etc....  I don't eat the squirrel, but they are rather irritating if they get into the attic, so If they do, I just watch for them for a few days and be done with it again for a little while.  Tenacious little buggers they are!

So, did you say only one single person per year in Alaska gets to hunt one single horned buffalo?  O n e ???  th.gifWhy do they bother at all?  Of course, their aren't enough of them here in Kansas anymore to hunt, so nobody does as far as I know.  My brother has an antiuqe (functioinal) buffalo gun, but the kick back is insane!!!

My mom also hunts rabbits, but their hard to shoot (skiddish) but this year im gonna hunt 'em bun.gif

You put in for a tag, and like 500 people apply, and one person gets picked (well more like 5,000 :P ) \

WOW, cool !

I gotta go :( :( :( Nice talking to you tho
