I've got some Barbu d'Anvers incubating right now. Those eggs are PIDDLY! I never thought they'd be so small. I mean a vitamin tablet is bigger lol!
About porous eggs, I'd still incubate them. I had a really bad-looking egg hatch out a cute chick. I think they're just more susceptible to bacteria, but I wash all my eggs anyway (after huge internal debates each time).
