gender by sex-link?

Hi!  We hatched out 3 chicks and were wondering if there were any sex-linked traits that might tell us their genders.  The chicks are about 4 weeks old in the photos.  The dad is a hatchery Golden-Laced Polish, for chick #1, mom is a leghorn, for chick #2, mom is an easter egger, and for chick #3, mom is a black australorp.  Thank you in advance.  I look forward to hearing what you think!5-15CloverBack.jpg5-15CloverHead.jpg

As you can see, this one is mostly white, but has black legs and a couple of black spots.  The comb is dark as well.

This one has the EE momma.

Here is the black australorp one.

The chicks are a little older by now and still look pretty much the same, but chick #2 and #3 have developed little tufts on the back of their heads like their dad.

Any of this sex-linked?  Any other ideas?  Thank you so much!

Sex-link chicks are sexed at hatch or within 2 days, they are sexed by thier color, and some chicks are feathered sexed by thier wing feathers and that has to do with the length of the feathers but that also has to be done within the first couple of days after hatch. I don't think you have any sex link chicks but they sure are cute!

Hi!  Thanks!  I can't tell for sure, but I think the chick #2 & #3 are boys, and I thought #1 was a girl.  But then I was reading the Storey's Guide to Chickens last night and it said that a leghorn female and a RIR male would have white males and redish females.  Then I got to wondering....  :)
